Product Overview
Amho Paper Band Filter is a coolant filtration system for grinding machines, CNC machine tools, and other machining equipment. It uses non-woven filter paper to separate metal particles, chips, dust, and other suspended solids from cutting fluid, helping maintain cleaner coolant during machining.
How the Paper Band Filter Works
Dirty coolant flows from the machine into the filter and spreads across the filter paper supported by a mesh conveyor. The liquid passes through the paper into the clean-fluid tank below, while solid particles remain on the paper surface.
As more contaminants accumulate, the filter layer becomes less permeable and the liquid level rises. A float switch or level sensor detects this change and activates the drive motor. The conveyor then advances the used paper, carries the collected sludge toward the discharge area, and places a clean section of filter paper into the filtration zone.
Filtration Performance And Design
Different grades of non-woven filter media can be selected according to the machining process, with filtration precision typically ranging from 10 μm to 30 μm. The automatic paper-feeding system supplies fresh media only when needed, helping control filter paper consumption.
The compact structure is suitable for machines with limited installation space. The overall dimensions and discharge direction can be adjusted according to the machine outlet height and workshop layout.
Applications

Maintenance And Operation
Routine maintenance is relatively simple. Sludge should be removed from the collection container regularly, while the float switch or level sensor should be kept free of chips and other debris. The paper supply and conveyor drive should also be checked periodically to ensure smooth automatic indexing.
