Product Overview
Raw milk starts losing quality the moment it leaves the cow, so a dairy farm or milk collection point needs a tank that can chill it down fast and keep it there. This bulk milk cooling tank is a fully-closed direct-cooling unit built to ISO5708 and Q/LEO 001-2002, with SUS304 stainless steel throughout and 60–80mm of polyurethane foam insulation that holds temperature rise below 2℃ for a full day.
A US flexible scroll compressor runs an evaporator that cools two to three times faster than standard designs, while a quiet timed stirrer keeps the milk uniform so fat does not separate. The control system handles start/stop, stirring cycles, fault protection and alarms on its own. Standard sizes run from 500L to 10,000L, with custom builds up to 30,000L, and the tank and compressor can sit together or apart depending on the milk room. It is built for dairy farms, collection stations and small processing plants that need raw milk kept cold from milking to transport.
How It Works
2.The flexible scroll compressor drives refrigerant through the evaporator around the tank, pulling heat out of the milk quickly.
3.The high-efficiency evaporator delivers 2–3x the cooling rate of standard designs, bringing milk down to storage temperature fast.
4.A low-noise mixing motor with rotor-stator positioning runs on a timed cycle, stirring the milk gently so temperature stays uniform and milk fat does not separate.
5.The 60–80mm polyurethane foam insulation holds the cold in - temperature rise stays under 2℃ over 24 hours when the unit is idle.
6.The electric control system handles automatic start/stop, timed stirring, fault protection and alarm.
7.When milk is ready for transport, it is pumped out through the outlet; the optional CIP cleaning system washes the tank automatically for the next batch.
