Product Overview
Hot, heavy, abrasive or oil-soaked chips are the fastest way to kill an ordinary conveyor - belts wear out, jam up and shut down production right when you need it moving. Our hinged steel belt is built for exactly that abuse. Interlocking steel hinges form a continuous, rigid carrying surface that moves hot, heavy, abrasive or oily material without breaking down - most commonly used in chip conveyors for CNC lathes and machining centers, stamping scrap lines, foundry sand removal and forging scale transport. It cuts manual handling, contains cutting fluid and oil, and keeps workshop floors clean and safe. Supplied either as a replacement belt for an existing conveyor, or as part of a complete conveyor system - a reliable fit for machining workshops, stamping plants, foundries, forging shops and metal recycling facilities.

This hinged steel belt is specified around real chip-floor variables:
- Five standard pitches - 31.75mm (1¼"), 38.1mm (1½"), 50.8mm (2"), 63.1mm (2½"), 101.6mm (4"). Match pitch to chip size and conveyor load; larger pitch handles bulkier and more tangled scrap.
- Three surface types - smooth for general chips, dimpled for extra grip on slippery or inclined runs, perforated for oil and coolant drainage.
- Pin-shaft connection - welded for heavy-duty fixed installations, cotter-pin for easier on-site disassembly and maintenance.
- Roll diameter & width scale with pitch - e.g. 31.75mm pitch pairs with 19.05mm roll / 9.4mm width; 50.8mm pitch pairs with 28.58mm roll / 15.75mm width; 63.1mm pitch pairs with 39.67mm roll / 18.9mm width. Full dimension drawings supplied per model.
- Chain-type structure - sprocket-driven, rigid on the carry side, flexes cleanly around return drums.
- Wet or dry, horizontal or inclined - handles both, in single-conveyor or linked multi-unit systems.
