Tangled, oil-soaked chips are the messiest problem on a machining floor - they pile up fast, leak oil everywhere, and sell for a fraction of what clean, dense scrap is worth. Our metal chips processing line turns that mess into value. It's an integrated, fully-automatic workflow that converts tangled, oil-bearing machining scrap into clean, dense, recyclable briquettes - and recovers the cutting oil in between. Each machine can run standalone, or all three link with conveyors into one PLC-controlled automatic line. Built for CNC workshops, auto-parts factories, die-casting plants and heavy-equipment manufacturers, it handles steel, aluminum, copper, brass, cast iron and grinding sludge
How It Works
- Shredding: Tangled, oil-bearing chips from CNC lathes and mills feed into the dual-shaft shredder. Blades crush long stringy chips into uniform 10–20mm fragments, cutting volume by up to 4x and making downstream drying and conveying smooth.
- Centrifugal de-oiling: Shredded chips enter the centrifuge. High-speed rotation flings residual cutting oil out through the screen; oil recovery rate exceeds 95%. Recovered oil drains to a collection tank for filtration and reuse.
- Briquetting: De-oiled, dry chips feed into the hydraulic briquetting press. High-pressure compression forms dense solid briquettes, reducing volume by up to 8x. Briquettes stack cleanly, transport easily, and command higher resale prices than loose oily chips.
