Product Overview

 

The Chain Chip Conveyor, also known as a hinge belt conveyor, is designed to collect and continuously discharge metal chips generated during machining. Its hinged steel plate structure can handle different types of machining waste, including long strips, short chips, curled chips and larger pieces.

Unlike magnetic chip conveyors, this design is suitable for both magnetic and non-magnetic materials. It can be used for chips from copper, aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel and other machining materials. The conveyor is commonly installed on CNC lathes, machining centers, automatic production lines and other machine tools where chips need to be removed continuously.

The conveyor uses a chain-driven hinged belt to move chips from the machining area to a designated collection point. A mechanical overload protection system on the drive shaft helps reduce the risk of motor damage if the chain becomes blocked during operation.

Carbon steel and SS304 stainless steel are available for the chain plates. A 60° lifting configuration is commonly used, while 30° and 45° options can also be supplied for installations with different space or discharge requirements.
